Operations

Operations are mathematical processing steps that can be applied to a signal - filters, FFT, addition, and more.

All operations applied to a signal form an ordered chain - the non-destructive workflow. Operations can be reordered at any time, their parameters adjusted, removed, or new ones added. Since workflows are saved together with projects, this advantage is preserved across sessions.

If a signal with an existing workflow is moved to the Source Signals Browser, its operations are persisted and the result is stored in the data source signal.
